CNO Role in the Implementation of an Electronic Health Record

Abstract

As we are facing an uncertain future with healthcare reform, a key element for survival will be enhanced efficiency and the ability to share patient clinical information across the continuum. The effective use of the clinical information will support providers in making enhanced clinical decisions, improving patient safety, and improving care processes. This will result in improved health outcomes and reduced costs.
